About the Choose Ohio First Program: There’s a critical need in Ohio and across the nation to increase the number of highly qualified science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) teachers. So the State of Ohio in an effort to enhance its economic competiveness has embarked upon an ambitious program to boost the access and appeal of these teaching fields by funding special Choose Ohio First scholarships.The following groups are eligible to apply: • High school seniors.
