Park named 'emerging scholar'

Julie Park, assistant professor of educational leadership at Miami University, has been selected as a 2010 Emerging Scholar by the American College Personnel Association (ACPA).
Park is one five new scholars recognized from across the nation who are emerging as contributing scholars in student affairs and higher education.
Park joined Miami in 2009 after receiving her doctorate in higher education and organizational change from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she also worked as a research analyst from 2006-2009 and received her master’s degree in 2005.
Her teaching and research interests include: research design and qualitative methods, diversity, race/ethnicity, Asian Americans, cross-racial interaction in multiethnic communities and spirituality/religion.
