4 Paws for Ability student group in the news
Miami student group 4 Paws for Ability trains service dogs for children with disabilities, and veterans who have lost limbs or hearing. They began training dogs on campus last spring and will have a new group of dogs on campus this fall.
The group was started by special ed major Kristin McNamara, and Clinical Faculty & Undergraduate Special Education Advisor Molly Kelly-Elliott serves as the group's advisor.
Local Channel 12 featured the story of a boy with autism who now benefits from the help of “Dazzler,” a dog trained by the group.
