The little girl below is Danielle, who is now a student in the Western College Program at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Every year on the first day of school, Danielle's mother took a picture of her outside her front door. We made a Quicktime morph movie of Danielle "growing" from a 5-year-old girl to a young woman of 17. Although this is not a scientific representation of the growth process, it dramatically shows us the major changes that take place in growth from small to tall.
