As an amateur paleontologist, you can use your dinosaur knowledge to go on a virtual dinosaur dig!
Finding dinosaurs requires a lot of patience and good luck. Dinosaurs are not where the paleontologists want them to be, but where the dinosaur died many millions of years ago.
You start by looking carefully at the surface of the ground, searching for any evidence of a dinosaur. This could be a fossilized bone or footprints made when the animal walked around.
When you find a possible site, you must first decide which type of tool to start with. The fossil site is relatively soft sedimentary rock.
