This is a great choice!! Since red acorns don't sprout until spring, it
would
be better for you to save them and they would be the same as when you
had them
in the autumn. If you had chosen to hide white oak acorns for the
winter, you
would not have had very good food in the spring since they sprout in the
fall.
All of the fat would be transfered to roots and other systems of the
acorn.
Sometimes, even if you choose to hide the red oak acorn, you can have a
surprise in the spring when you dig it up to eat. Click here to find out
what
might be waiting for you
inside your acorn.
