Can you match parents with their children?
Let's see if you're smarter than the chimps. We will give you a set of parents and by using the information on trait inheritance that you learned in the Mendel pages, you will have to decide what children belong to them.
There are some things that you have to know before you start this game. Like the color of the peas, humans have several characteristics that are passed down to their offspring. Some of these are what type of ear lobes you have, if you have dimples, and if you can roll your tongue. In this game we're going to explore all of these traits and learn more about how they are passed on.
Before each set of parents and children we'll tell you what traits are recessive and what traits are dominant. It's up to you to decide what children go with each parent.
Even ears are passed on! Click here to find out more about your ears.
