Centering Around the Science Standards for Grades 6-8
Centering Around the Science Standards workshop is a summer program offered to, both, grades K-2 and 6-8 science teachers in Southwest Ohio. Participants in this workshop will use learning contracts and hands-on centers to differentiate Ohio Academic Content Standards at their specific grade levels. Workshop discussions and activities will address pedagogy that are important to consider when differentiating specific instruction (i.e., the learning cycle, misconceptions, visual literacy, vertical alignment, and managing centers). Please see grades 6-8 program details below.
Required follow-up sessions will occur during the school year.
Please contact person listed for application and final dates.
Each institute's availability is dependent upon funding and a full complement of participants.
