When
February 27 (Wednesday), 5:00 to 6:00
Where
Howe Center for Writing Excellence
Audience
Undergraduate and graduate students seeking internships, summer jobs, or permanent employment
Content
When writing to prospective employers rather than applying in person, the letter accompanying the résumé can make all the difference. It is more than a "cover" letter because it provides an excellent opportunity to highlight qualifications and make points that a résumé cannot convey.
If you don't have a letter, the workshop will you get started. If you do have one, the workshop will help you write letters portraying your qualifications even more persuasively. Bring a copy or draft of your letter, if possible.
