Supervised School-Based Clinical Services
Currently four clinical psychology doctoral trainees and one school psychology trainnee provide supervised school-based clinical services in tw o Butler and County school districts.
The overarching goal is to offer services that reduce barriers to learning and enhance healthy psychological development of school-age students. This is accomplished through:
1. Primary prevention & mental health education.
2. Early direct intervention for identified children.
3. Treatment for children & adolescents with severe or chronic mental health problems.
Effectiveness in service delivery is monitored on an on-going basis
