In this workshop, you will learn the latest information about attention, memory, and learning. Some of the topics we will cover include how to keep students’ attention (even during long lectures), how to optimize the learning environment, and how to teach so the material sticks.

What could you do to be happier? Research has shown that many of the things people think would make them happier actually do not affect happiness at all. In this workshop, you will learn about factors that actually are associated with happiness. Some of the topics we will cover include learned optimism, explanatory style, and the hedonic treadmill. Lots of quizzes and application!

Eating Behavior I: Overeating

In this web-based workshop, you will learn about situational factors that can affect the type and quantity of food people eat. Topics include ironic processing, cognitive associations, framing, ego depletion, and much more. The information in this workshop is based on current psychological research and is applicable to both individuals and those who work in health-minded settings, such as schools.

Non-tuition program cost: $25 (There is a small fee for a video purchase)
