Ohio Educator Discount - TEAM Scholarship:

Miami University is still offering a scholarship that will significantly lower the cost associated with professional development and/or earning a graduate degree. Any Ohio K-12 teacher meeting the “TEAM” requirements receives a 50% discount on graduate level classes approved for professional development. The application deadline for 2010-11 summer classes is one week before the Summer II semester begins. For complete information and application please visit the “TEAM” website.

Registration & Program Fees:

Registration Fee -To address the increasing cost of workshop registration processing, tracking and administration all workshops (credit and non-credit) carry a non-refundable administration fee. This fee helps pay for necessary technology, tracking, and personnel associated with the registration process. The Administration fee is $25 per student, per workshop registration.

Program Fee - CraftSummer is a self-supporting academic program. Revenue generated from tuition and fees must cover the program expense. To ensure sustainability of CraftSummer programming, it is necessary to institute some restrictions for course enrollments in 2012. Beginning with CraftSummer 2011, each course offering will allocate a minimum of 50% of the available seats to students enrolling for non-credit, and remaining seats to credit program enrollees. This will allow the program to sustain continued operation.
Those enrolling in workshops for Miami University credit will be assessed a program fee of $75 per weeklong workshop and $50 per weekend class.
