Beginner Throwing: The W(right) Way

This course provides a good introduction to creating functional pottery forms for students with no prior experience and also for those who have worked with clay before, but would benefit from a review. Fundamental techniques such as wedging, centering, the development of cylinders, cup/mug forms, bowls, trimming, handles and lids, along with glazing and slip decoration will be presented.
