Pottery Making Sampler

Explore various methods of making pottery. Techniques include pinch, coil, slab, soft slab, hump molds, slump molds, and the pottery wheel. Just a peek at some of the many ways of working with clay. Beginners welcomed and encouraged. Other can learn tips and techniques. This is a fun one!

As a graduate of Miami University (B.S., M.S., M.Ed.) J Harris was trained as an educator and for the last 15 years, dedicated to full time pottery making, he found a major confluence of these two paths. J’s work is in numerous public and private collections.
