Intermediate Glass Beadmaking

This week-long workshop will give students the opportunity to progress beyond basic beading. Skills covered will include learning to use heat and gravity to form a variety of well-shaped beads; the safe use of tools and equipment, annealing, using frits, stringers and precious metals. For those interested, a how-to on studio setup will also be addressed. Plan to go home with a handful of treasures!

Marjorie Langston has been making beads since 1993 and teaching beadmaking since 1999. She teaches regularly at the John C.
