Salt Firing
This workshop will focus on the salt-firing process, including glazing and firing. Various clays, colored slips and glazes will be explored, along with the loading and firing of the salt kiln. While students will have a limited opportunity to produce pieces intended for firing, workshop participants are encouraged to bring bisqued pieces ready for glazing and firing in an effort to fire and complete more work.
