Quiltmaking: Calming the Storm at Sea
The versatile Storm at Sea quilt block will be the focus of this machine-piecing workshop where participants will create a one of a kind wall hanging. This amazing block can be used in an infinite number of settings, resulting in dramatic quilts of illusion using straight seams to create the appearance of beautiful curved lines. We'll tame those long points and diamonds with easy construction methods. Other topics covered include accurate cutting and sewing techniques, and color and value studies.
