Colored Pencils on Creative Surfaces

Participants will learn a broad range of applications and techniques for working with wax-based colored pencils; from using various strokes to creating textures and blending colors. After an overview of basic applications, you will learn how to work on non-traditional surfaces such as two sided drafting film, pastel board, wood, and colored ground - each requiring different techniques. All components of form, value, light and detail will help you develop your personal style. No drawing experience required!
