Introduction to Glass Beadmaking
Find out what it’s like to work with hot glass! Learn the basics of melting glass, shaping and manipulating it over an open torch to make wearable beads. In this workshop, the artist will guide participants through introductory techniques such as forming, stringers and simple canes. This class will give you a foundation for continued work on your own or be the stepping stone to another beadmaking class. (Or next week's beadmaking class.) Tools are provided for use; supply fee covers materials and glass rods used. No experience necessary.
