Block Printing with Ceramics
This combined media workshop looks for new ways to get imagery onto the surfaces of pottery. Students will cut linoblocks, print clay slabs and learn to construct three different forms that feature the printed surfaces, using both the potter's wheel and table building techniques. This workshop will focus on the construction and decoration of clay forms in the building state and while finishing techniques will be discussed, due to time constraints, work will not be glazed.
