Beginning Jewelry Techniques
This hands-on workshop will introduce you to the design and fabrication of one-of-a-kind jewelry. Through a series of demonstrations, slide presentations and class discussions, we will explore issues of design, wearability and personal expression. As an introduction to basic skills, the class will investigate various hand tools and techniques. We will be making a neckpiece, bracelet and a band ring with a stone. Intermediate and advanced students are welcome to brush up on skills and create more elaborate projects.
