Beginning Watercolor
Students will learn the basic theories and techniques of watercolor painting, using landscape as an inspiration. The basics of wet-in-wet and dry brush will be introduced, as well as, an emphasis on color mixing and composition. Participants will learn to appreciate the beauty of this transparent media and to accept the gifts of “happy accidents.” Class critiques will reinforce understanding and students will return home ready to paint.
