This course will focus on post-production of digital images acquired with a camera. Although the basics of photographic image capture will be addressed, the course focuses primarily on digital manipulation via Adobe Photoshop and the various stages of post-production, including printing and digital output. We will address the basics of using a digital camera, importing images to Macs and PCs, managing and manipulating images in Photoshop, preparing images for output, and printing images. A digital camera is required, or prior approval from the instructor.
