Colored Pencil: Still Life - Color, Texture, & Form

From the shiny reflective qualities of glass and metal, to the tactile feel of wood, fabric, and more! This class focuses on capturing various man-made and organic surfaces with colored pencil. You’ll employ energetic strokes, creative color schemes, contemporary designs, and imaginative compositions, to render unique Still Lifes. All the components of form, value, light and detail will help you develop your personal style. Beginners should have basic knowledge of colored pencil techniques.

Vera Curnow is the Founder of the Colored Pencil Society of America with over 1,900 members worldwide and 26 District Chapters in the United States. She has authored and compiled eight books and written magazine articles about the colored pencil medium. Her artwork has been published internationally, featured in solo and group exhibitions, and included in corporate collections.
