This workshop is designed to provide teachers and administrators with a comprehensive introduction to classroom assessment and its essential role in the confirmation of student learning and achievement. The focus of this workshop is to immerse the reader into the arena and role of assessment as it relates to teaching, how it functions as a process, and its necessity in the daily instructional cycle for both teachers and students. A practical dialogue about why, how and what to assess, the necessary steps to follow, and what to do with the assessment results once they are collected will be followed. This workshop combines a “how-to” approach with a useful reference format so the provided materials can become part of a professional library to be used whenever assessment questions/issues arise in the classroom. Helping Children Overcome Depression and Anxiety

Helping Students with Traumatic Brain Injury

Understanding and Treating ADHD in the Classroom
