The Center for Chemistry Education produces projects and resources that emphasize the hands-on, minds-on approach to science for all ages.
Project Dragonfly
Dragonfly provides resources for investigators of all ages who want to learn more about the world around them.
Junior Scholars Program
This program offers an opportunity for academically talented high school seniors to learn about university life and earn college credit early. Scholars chosen for the program live in an air-conditioned Miami residence hall and typically earn six to eight semester hours of college credit in specifically selected summer classes. Students may choose from more than 40 courses in fine arts, languages, humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, mathematics, and computer science. Scholars also participate in a special program of recreation, social events, and co-curricular seminars.
Regent's Chinese Academy
Participate in a summer Chinese intensive study! This program is intended for true beginners, and will prepare participants for further study of the Chinese language. Peer mentoring and online learning round out this thorough and exciting program.
Miami University Summer Enrichment Program (MUSEP)
The Miami University Summer Enrichment Program (MUSEP) is a one-week summer experience for gifted and talented students in mathematics and science. Students from across Ohio who will be in grades 5-8 in the 2007-2008 school year are invited to attend. During the days students will be attending discovery-based mathematics and science classes taught by exemplary classroom teachers. In the evenings, students will participate in various social activities, including swimming, cooperative group building, and sessions in music and theatre.
Summer Sports Camps
Miami University annually sponsors summer training for elementary and high school boys and girls in a variety of sports, such as basketball, hockey, soccer, volleyball, and cheerleading.
Children's Picture Book Database
The Children's Picture Book Database provides abstracts for over 5000 children's picture books and helps teachers, students, librarians, and parents create literature-based thematic units for all subjects.
Debate Camp Summer 2008
The Miami Forensics team has a history of success including 7 consecutive appearances at the National Debate Tournament and more than 20 national speech championships since 1999. Learn more about their camps at

Camp Journey to Freedom
