Responsible Conduct in Research (RCR)

At Miami University, we are committed to the development and enhancement of sound practices in research and scholarship among our faculty, staff and students.

The Office for the Advancement of Research and Scholarship has implemented an RCR Program to inform and support professional and ethical standards of research at Miami University. Through RCR training and continued awareness, the quality and integrity of research will be enhanced.

Funding agencies as well have recognized the increasing importance of RCR training. For some federally sponsored research, completion of RCR training is mandatory. See the link below for information.
