Required Training
All faculty, students, and staff using or planning to use live vertebrate animals in research and/or teaching are required to complete a two-part training program.

Part 1: AALAS Online Training

All researchers must take the AALAS (American Association for Laboratory Animal Science) Online Training.

A training account must be registered by the IACUC administrators and the request for an account must originate from a faculty advisor. Faculty should contact Terri Brosius (animalcare@muohio.edu) to set-up training accounts for graduate and undergraduate students. Provide the name and uniqueID (not banner number) for each person requiring training. Each will receive an email message with a username and password for accessing the AALAS online training.
