Undergraduate Research in the Department of Communication

The Department of Communication now has its own grant program to fund research by undergraduate students. This program is designed to encourage undergraduate student research and creative work outside of the classroom in an environment that fosters student/faculty interaction, encourages faculty scholarship, and that promotes Miami University through the public presentation or publication of the product.

Students may earn Independent Study credit while completing funded projects.

All undergraduate students may apply; preference will be given to Communication majors only in the rare instance that all other factors are equal.
