Dr. Vogel is a Professor of Mass
Communication. His current research interests
focus is on the instructional use of multimedia
design to address socially sensitive issues. His
teaching interests include introduction to mass
communication theories and issues, copywriting
for the electronic media, Laws, Hall & Associates
(interdisciplinary practicum in advertising),
and multimedia design. Dr. Vogel has published
widely in a number of academic journals and was
the writer and producer of a national instructional
television series on communication skills for
the vocational hgihschool student. Over the years,
Dr. Vogel has received nartional recognition for
his use of instructional technologies in both
secondary and higher education. Here at Miami,
Dr. Vogel received the alumni award in 1995 as
the effective educator and was also selected as
Miami University's first Director of Faculty Development
in Learning Technologies. |
