Dr. Scott is an Associate Professor
of Mass Communication and Affiliate Professor
of Black World Studies. He has written on the
representation of African Americans in the mass
media and teaches courses in media writing, film
studies, mass media criticism, African American
Rhetoric, and non-majority images in the media.
Research interests include visual communication,
film and television criticism, cultural criticism,
and ethnic images in media. |
