Professor Larry Nadler received
his Ph.D. in Speech Communication from the University
of Kansas in 1983. Since then, he has taught courses
on interpersonal communication (at the undergraduate
and graduate level), conflict resolution, nonverbal
communication and small group communication. In
addition, he serves as the Assistant Chair for
the Speech Communication program. His research
interests involve sex/gender issues in
communication (particularly in negotiation and
educational settings), applications of relational
development theory (to televangelism and instructional
and advising relationships), and conflict management.
In the latter category, he serves as a certified
mediator as well as Chair of the Board of Directors
of Conflict Resolution Services, a non-profit
group in Oxford, Ohio. Nadler's research has been
published in journals such as The Journal of Communication
and Religion, Journal of Excellence in College
Teaching, Women's Studies in Communication, Communication
Studies, the Journal of the Association of Communication
Administrators, and The International Journal
of Conflict Management. |
