Keynote Speaker- Maria Gracia Di Pasquale, Director Fusion Program, Procter & Gamble

Virtualization - The Sixth Sense

Maria Gracia Di Pasquale holds an MBA from the Universidad Simon Bolivar (Caracas,Venezuela) and a BS in Systems Engineering from the Universidad Metropolitana (Caracas, Venezuela). She joined Procter & Gamble (P&G) in early 1989 and has had a variety of business and leadership experiences across many P&G business areas including: Customer Service & Sales Systems, Operations and Data Center Management, Supply Chain Systems Management, SAP Centers of Expertise, Accounting & Financial Systems, and IT Strategy Leadership for the Global Snacks & Beverages business unit. She is currently Global Business Services Director for P&G's Fusion Program - a breakthrough innovation program that leverages Virtual Reality Technologies to drive initiatives to market faster and at lower costs. Outside of her career at P&G, Maria Gracia is recently a new mom and is now enjoying the benefits of many additional P&G Baby Care products. In her spare time she participates in non-profit organizations that support orphanages and children in general.

Panel Discussion

Digital Media Program Issues: Promotion and Tenure/Accrediation

Presentation and discussion of problems and solutions surrounding issues of promotion and tenure in non-traditional areas, like digital media programs, by people who have successfully dealt with this at decision levels. The emphasis will be on positive presentation of faculty strengths in demonstrating excellence in digital media teaching and research/creative work. Examples of success in this area will be discussed, as well as particular solutions for interdisciplinary programs.
