
Meeting began at 9:30am with the following members present:

Absent- Fofi Constantinidou (approved for Board; replacing Kathy Hutchinson)
Reports:
Side by Side- Teets stated that the evaluation was completed in the summer with a positive outcome. However, due to budgetary reasons, the program has now been cut. The evaluators are planning an article for publication.
Literacy Grant- Wang indicated that the pre- and post-tests have been completed. There will also be a publication from this project.
Kellogg Report- Wolfe said that qualitative and quantitative research has been completed and has indicated that the program was successful, although there needs to be better communication between departments of the university.
Dragonfly- Bergen indicated that there is a continuing and a new project being funded by an Eisenhower grant (Total of approximately $240,000 over 3 years.). Wolfe indicated that the Dragonfly web site has received 1 million visitors.
Proposals:
Bergen indicated that she will need help with putting together the summary of the Center's activities for the review by the Dean. The Board agreed to review the draft document and give feedback.
It was also decided that Jesse will be hired to maintain the web site.
