2. Aimin Wang, EDP
3. Larry Sherman, EDP
4. Chris Wolfe, SIS
5. Fofi Constantinidou, SPA
6. Jessica Burnham, CHDLT GA
Absent- Jan Teets (NSG) & Yvette Harris (PSY)

Minutes were approved as amended.

Center Review Report- Wolfe and Constantinidou discussed potential next steps in the review process with Bergen on the 16th. Then on the 23rd, this was also discussed. Bergen stated that the report was turned in on the 15th and now the board will just wait to see what the results will be. Consensus was that the Center had accomplished a great deal over the past 11 years.

Web site maintenance- Jesse said he could not take on another job so Chris Wolfe has found a freshman student, Alison Stanton, to fulfill the position. Bergen and Burnham will contact her for a meeting. Bergen has also suggested getting a new web site address so it's easier to locate. Sherman mentioned the VAX server switch at the end of the spring semester as cause of concern. Making sure there's a counter attached to the web site was also discussed.

Dragonfly Inquiry- First project ends in December and the evaluation phase will be completed. The new projects begin in January and go through next December. This includes the continuation of the Lebanon project and the Hamilton County project.

SPECTRA- A new evaluation subcontract was funded in conjunction with the Fitton Center. Richard Luftig is the PI. It is a 3 year grant for slightly over $90,000.There will be a GA position available with this, which means that there will be a vacancy in one GA position, either SPECTRA or Dragonfly. Bergen knows of 4 possibilities to fill this vacancy.

CAW- Not held last year because of lack of director. Bergen has a meeting with a new visiting professor who might be interested in running it.

Advisory Committee Input- Committee discussed how to get the advisory committees input without having them come to meetings, since scheduling is so difficult? It was decided to send an email asking for ideas for new community outreach activities, and if they want to come to discuss their ideas, we can have a meeting for that in January. Sherman said we might be able to have live chat on the internet so he will investigate that possibility.

Next meeting- Tuesday, November 27th, 2001 at 9:30 am.
