Preparing for Your Internship
Prepare for your internship with a few tips and tricks to make certain you have a great experience.
I interned at the Capital Area Food Bank in Washington, D.C. During my internship, I wrote briefings on corporate partners, conducted a competitive analysis, learned to use Salesforce, and taught hunger workshops to corporate volunteer groups. The Career Center’s $2,500 internship grant allowed me to explore a potential career and a new city, providing valuable self-discovery along the way.
