Why hire an intern?
- Meet short-term employment needs. Employing interns is a flexible, cost-effective way to cover short-term employment needs. Students can work either part time or full time, or be assigned to complete special projects.

- Nurture talent. You can enhance the education of future members of your profession. Recruiting and screening tool. By hiring interns, you can observe their abilities and conduct "three-month interviews," thereby using internships as an employment recruiting and screening function.

What services are available to employers?
- On-Campus Recruiting
- On-campus interviews can be arranged through the Office of Career Services between October and April using Miami CAREERlink. Most internship interviews take place January through March.
- Job Postings
- Post your internship via Miami CAREERlink. Students will learn of your internship by searching the system or via a predetermined job-search agent.
- Student Resume Book
- Our internship candidates register with us online. In turn, their registration records and resumes are available to prospective employers via Miami CAREERlink.
- Spring Internship & Career Expo (Spring ICE)
- This special recruiting event is held annually in February and provides employers with the opportunity to interact directly with students seeking internships as well as full-time permanent positions. Contact Carol Fink at finkcr@muohio.edu for further information.
