Real Estate and Property Management

Miami University has three programs designed to help employees address their housing needs.

Faculty and Staff Rental Property

Miami maintains a small number of houses in the Oxford area for use as transitional housing for new employees. This page contains a list of houses expected to be available for the upcoming academic year, and has links to building information, floor plans, and photographs. After exploring the available units online, incoming faculty and staff may request housing by contacting Paul Allen, Director of Business Services at (513) 529-4225 or at bussvcs@muohio.edu. Houses are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

Housing Exchange

The “Miami Housing Exchange” gives employees who own houses the opportunity to list them online for review by other employees. The site is for information only; all negotiation is done between landlord and prospective tenant.

Employees looking for housing can review the list of available rentals by following the link at the left.

Employer-Assisted Housing Program

In an effort to increase the level of employee homeownership in the City of Oxford, especially within the “Historic Mile Square,” Miami University offers its faculty and staff assistance to purchase homes in the community.

For details, see our program information on the link at the left.
