Faculty/Staff Payroll Deductions
Employees who request payroll deduction are granted charging privileges on campus. Charging privileges can be used to charge meals at any on-campus dining location (a 10% discount is given when you use your ID Card), vending machines, on-campus bookstore purchases, long distance telephone calls, computer loans, and other miscellaneous charges. A person who signs up for payroll deduction agrees to allow the University to deduct any and all charges from his or her paycheck. When you begin charging purchases to your university account, the charges will be deducted from your next available paycheck. Payroll deduction charges will appear on your check stub under the category University Charges.

All permanent faculty and staff are eligible to sign up for payroll deduction. An authorization form can be obtained in the Campus Avenue Building, room 107, in the Telecommunications office located in Robertson Hall or by clicking here. Completed authorization forms are to be forwarded to the Bursars Office, Campus Avenue Building, room 107.

A monthly statement of account is generated for everyone with a balance due. Employees who use payroll deduction will receive these statements only when they have balances on their accounts. These statements are designed to provide you with information about the items charged to your account. You are not required to make payment from this statement, but you should review it for accuracy. To view detailed information for meal charges, vending charges, and bookstore charges please login to www.hdg.muohio.edu/myaccount/. Faculty and staff who do not wish to receive monthly statements may request that the statements be suppressed. Information about the suppression of monthly statements should be directed to the Bursar's Office Administrative Services, Campus Avenue Building, room 107.

Tuition Fee Waiver
Human Resources Benefits Services will determine Tuition Fee Waiver eligibility and send a notice to the Bursar’s Office regarding you and/or your dependent/spouse/domestic partner’s qualification for the Tuition Fee Waiver benefit. Faculty/Staff Computer Loans
All permanent faculty and staff are eligible to apply for an interest free computer loan. Questions regarding the application process should be addressed to the Payroll Office, Roudebush Hall room 2, (513) 529.6223. When a computer loan is approved, the check and paperwork are forwarded to the Campus Avenue Building, room 119, for processing. As soon as the promissory note is ready, you will receive a call requesting you to visit the Campus Avenue Building, room 119, to sign the note and pick up your check. Once the promissory note is signed, the charges will be added to your account and will be deducted from your paycheck. If you have any questions regarding payment of your computer loan, please contact the Campus Avenue Building, room 119, at (513) 529.8700.

Miami Manor Community
Visiting Faculty/Staff who are members of the Miami Manor Community are charged rent on a monthly basis. Rental charges are added to the account on the first day of each month. Visiting Faculty/Staff are expected to pay rent by the first of each month, regardless of whether they receive an invoice. Rental payments can be made at the Payment Center, Campus Avenue Building room 101or via Payroll Deduction.
