Tim Webster ‘08

Tim spent his final undergraduate semester as a Junior Fellow in the Leverhulme Centre, Department of Biological Anthropology at the University of Cambridge.   He spent six months studying chimpanzees in the Toro-Semliki Wildlife Reserve, Uganda.

“I will begin graduate studies at Yale University in the fall of 2009 and intend to focus on the feeding and nutritional ecology of the chimpanzees at Ngogo, Uganda for my dissertation research."

While at Miami Tim received the Rebecca Jeanne Andrew Memorial Award to study
"Cortical and cancellous bone ratios in ape and human calcanei" at Cleveland.  He also received funds to examine “Well digging and insectivory of chimpanzees of Semliki, Uganda” in Uganda.
