Sabrina is currently managing the non-human primate Behavioral Training Program (BTP)  at Southwest Foundation for Biomedical Research in San Antonio, TX.

While at Miami she received the Rebecca Jeanne Andrew Memorial Award for her study examining "The Characterization and Psychological Assessment of Laboratory Chimpanzees Designated for Retirement to a Non-Profit Sanctuary" San Antonio, USA.  She also studied the "Behavior Modification in Singly-Caged Baboons: Evaluating the Effectiveness of Four Enrichment Conditions."
