Lauren Sarringhaus ‘03

Lauren is a PhD student in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Michigan.

“I am studying how chimpanzee locomotion and anatomy develop from infancy through adulthood and the extent to which changes in locomotor behavior over time influence changes in skeletal anatomy.”

While at Miami she recieved the Rebecca Jeanne Andrew Memorial Award to study the "Bilateral Asymmetry in the Upper Arm Bones of Chimpanzees (Pan troglodytes)" in Cleveland.
