Goldman Prize Winner to Study Osteoporosis in Ancient British Populations

Miami University senior Heather Hillenbrand will spend a year documenting the prevalence of osteoporosis in ancient British populations as recipient of the 2009 Joanna Jackson Goldman Memorial Prize. The prize, valued at approximately $28,000, annually allows a Miami senior to realize a dream. It is believed to be among the largest undergraduate awards in the country.
