  • The AIS is exploring possible foundation support for summer workshops in interdisciplinary and integrative theory, methodology, and pedagogy.

Diverse Social Setting As A Context For Human Development, by Ivan D. Kovacs, Professor of Human Development. The Human Development program at California State University, Hayward uses interdisciplinary higher education to promote student and facu lty development and knowledge about development. The program leads to a B.A. degree.

Issues in Integrative Studies- The launching of the publication "Issues in Integrative Studies" is announced. It is planned as an occasional publication and will cover such topics as interdisciplinary theory and methodology, pedagogical approaches for enhancing interdisciplinarity, and models of integrative curricula.
