Colonel
Clark A. Kelly is the commander of Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps
(AFROTC) Det 640, Miami of Ohio University, Oxford, Ohio. He recruits, trains, motivates,
selects, and commissions officer candidates through a comprehensive college
program.
Colonel
Kelly was commissioned in 1981 through Officer Training School. His assignments include a variety of jobs
in both the Air Force and Joint Command and Control, Intelligence,
Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C2ISR) and Information Operations arenas. He is a Master Navigator with 10 years of
RC-135V/W Rivet Joint Electronic Warfare Officer (EWO) experience and four
years of E-8C JSTARS Navigator experience.
Colonel Kelly has over eight years of squadron intelligence
know-how, supervising combat intelligence, electronic intelligence and unit
support branches at Helenikon Air Base, Greece; Naval Air
Station Souda Bay, Greece; Royal Air Force Mildenhall,
England;
and Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. In addition, he has two years of
intelligence group command at Hickam Air Force
Base, Hawaii.
Colonel Kelly is a fully qualified joint specialty officer with assignments
at U.S. Central Command, where he worked J3 IO and Special Technical
Operations. He also completed an abbreviated tour with the Joint Chiefs of
Staff J5, working in the Africa and
International Negotiations Deputy Directorate as the Division Chief for
Conventional Arms Control.
