Accreditation Committees

The process of reaffirming accreditation for Miami University is being led by Dr. Carolyn Haynes, Director of the University Honors Program and Professor of English, with the assistance of Dr. Cecilia Shore, Director of the Center for Enhancement of Learning and Teaching and University Assessment and Professor of Psychology.

Because the “Open Pathways” option for reaccreditation calls for ongoing collection of data and the creation of a short assurance argument, multiple multi-year committees to complete the reaccreditation process will not be necessary.

The Accreditation Steering Team will oversee the process for applying for reaccreditation and the means of collecting needed data for accreditation and other evaluation purposes on an ongoing basis.
