Welcome to Area Employment Opportunities!

This is a web site that contains lists of area employers, categorized by the type of business, with company addresses, web addresses, and employment web addresses (when available). Each business is also identified within an area map.

There are several things you should know before using this site:

1. The map is slower to load for some companies than others, please be patient.
2. The map has a feature to zoom in or out.
3. Company links should open a separate window.  By closing the company window, the window to this web site will remain at the place you left it.
4. Several of the financial institutions do not have local headquarters but have many branches. The map's point of reference will be of the area or will use the ZIP code identified with the P.O. Box for its reference.  It will not reflect the many branches but you can find them on the financial institution’s web site.
5. The list includes several types of companies that do not maintain a separate employment web site, but their home page may lead you to contacts for employment in the company. If not for employment, you may find these helpful in learning more about the area, local sports and the arts.
6. These lists do not include all possible employment opportunities in the Oxford, Cincinnati, Dayton, and surrounding area. You can also check the following local newspaper sites:

7. If you find a web site that does not work, please report it to academicpersonnel@muohio.edu. The company may have changed its web address and we will need to update our database.
8. The web site will continue to grow as new categories and businesses are added.
