LEARNING IN ACTION

Brett Roeth '09
When I was a freshman, a classmate told me about Arcosanti, an experimental city in Arizona. After spending time at this city the following summer, I returned to Miami and spread the knowledge that I gained by giving two presentations to fellow students and faculty and publishing a paper in a peer-reviewed journal. Right now, I am extending this research into an undergraduate thesis, with a focus on the impact of the sociocultural attitudes of American society on the contemporary urban patterns of our country.
