Undergraduate academic advising for the School of Education and Allied Professions (EAP) is conducted through the department of the student’s major. Freshmen should work with their FYA (First Year Advisor) or the department CDA (Chief Departmental Advisor) or undergraduate coordinator prior to acceptance into a major. Once accepted into a major (usually sophomore or junior year) students are assigned faculty advisors in their major.
