Scholarly Interests: Dr. Wetzel has two primary interests--motor development of children and curriculum development of K-12 physical education classes. He is interested in cross-lateral and gross motor physical activities and their benefit to children's academic achievement in the classroom and second, developing physical education curriculum based on the National Association of Sport and Physical Education (NASPE) Standards.
